Your day out
So what can you expect from a day out with Pick It Cook It? Well it is, as they say, what is says on the tin! We go out, we show how to pick our food, we then show how to cook it, and you go home with a jar or a bottle of whatever we have made. Our kitchen is situated at Daylands Farm, and for the most part this is where our picking takes place. Whilst the bulk of our recipe ideas are based upon the abundant wild fruits and leaves we find in the hedgerow, we also incorporate the seasonal produce grown on the farm.

Listed below are dated examples of the themed days we run, some of the things we can make with you, and some of the food that we serve along side it. All of the main produce we use either grows wild, or is produced on the farm. All of the meat and eggs we use are reared by Derek and Vicky Crush on Daylands Farm. All of the cakes and bread we serve are hand made by Louise or Carol. All other ingredients are locally sourced where possible.
